The Petaluma Police Department is teaming up with Windsor Pick-N-Pull to sponsor Vehicle Amnesty Days from July 1-July 21. During the three-week event, vehicles that are not running will be towed free of charge to Windsor Pick-N-Pull. The lot will also accept cars that will not pass smog tests, all in an effort to help local residents clean up their property.
No ownership documents are required for acceptance. The lot will accept any standard vehicle up to 18 feet, but will not take boats, motor homes or trailers. For more information, call Karin Pruitt at 543-3594.
