Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are later found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 1

12:07 a.m. — Mark E. Martin, 19, of Petaluma, was arrested in the 100 block of Magnolia Avenue for misdemeanor DUI. He was released on a citation to appear.

9:46 a.m. — A juvenile was arrested on Riesling Road for possession a weapon on school rounds.

11:28 a.m. — Four juveniles, all 17 years old, were arrested in the 300 block of Casa Grande Road. Three were arrested on felony counts of possession of a weapon on school grounds and one for a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana on school grounds. All were released to their parents on citations to appear in court.

6:52 p.m. — Vandalism as reported on Bassett Street.

6:56 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

1:54 a.m. — A fight was reported on Kentucky Street at Washington Street.

6:37 a.m. — Kevin O’Dea, 56, of Petaluma was arrested in the 400 block of Washington Street for misdemeanor DUI.

10:40 a.m. — Joy E. Reynolds, 53, of Petaluma was arrested on Bodega Avenue at El Paseo Drive for misdemeanor DUI after her vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, hit a sign and crashed into a fire hydrant. Reynolds was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and released on a citation to appear in court.

11:00 a.m. — Petty theft from a vehicle was reported on North McDowell Boulevard.

8:41 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Lakeville Street.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

2:26 a.m. — Burglary was reported on Madeira Circle.

9:08 a.m. — Petty theft was reported on Magnolia Avenue.

1:47 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on Washington Street.

4:46 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Anna Way.

6:21 p.m. — Grand theft from a building was reported on East Madison Street.

7:43 p.m. — Gun shots were reported on Sonoma Mountain Parkway.

10:47 p.m. — A drunk driver was reported at the northbound East Washington Highway 101 offramp. Officers were unable to locate any suspects upon arrival.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

12:37 a.m. — Battery was reported on Hopper Street.

1:36 a.m. — Aaron S. Rusmisel, 37, a transient of Petaluma, was arrested in the 1700 block of Calle Ranchero on a felony outside warrant. He was booked into county jail.

2:16 a.m. — Daniel J. Coleman, 21, of Petaluma, was arrested in the 200 block of Cinnabar Road for misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer after officers responded to a report of vandalism.

11:38 a.m. — Petty theft was reported on Hopper Street.

1:49 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Kent Street at Petaluma Boulevard North.

2:40 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North at Washington Street.

4:13 p.m. — Curtis R. Bolton, 20, of Petaluma, was arrested in the 900 block of Lakeville Street for misdemeanor selling liquor to a minor after the Lucky’s clerk sold alcohol to a minor decoy during a Petaluma Police “shoulder-tap” operation. He was released on a citation to appear in court.

4:48 p.m. — Fraud was reported on San Jose Way.

6:10 p.m. — A drunk driver was reported on Candlewood Drive. Police were unable to locate the suspect upon arrival.

7:44 p.m. — Narcotics activity was reported n Broadway Street.

7:56 p.m. — Petty Theft was reported on Sarkesian Drive.

10:34 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on East Madison Street.

11:07 p.m. — A robbery was reported on Lakeville Highway.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

8:35 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on 4th Street.

10:14 a.m. — Fraud was reported on Hopper Street.

11:12 a.m. — Humberto G. Navarro, 45, of Petaluma, was arrested on Baywood Drive for felony domestic violence assault with an injury and misdemeanor willful cruelty to a child. He was arrested and booked into county jail.

1:08 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Rancho Way.

2:54 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on Hopper Street.

4:23 p.m. — Marijuana cultivation was reported on Grouse Lane.

4:36 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on 5th Street at Mountain View Avenue.

6:28 p.m. — A drunk driver was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North. Officers were unable to locate any suspects upon arrival.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

1:03 a.m. — Two juveniles, a 16-year old male an 17-year old male, were arrested in the 500 block of Vallejo Street for felony burglary. Both were arrested and released into the custody of their parents.

2:26 a.m. — Rafael D. Dalcolmo, 26, of Petaluma, was arrested in he 300 block of South McDowell Boulevard for misdemeanor DUI and driving on a suspended license.

8:10 a.m. — Counterfeiting of coins was reported on Alma Court.

9:26 a.m. — Petty theft was reported on Baywood Drive.

9:57 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on Steamer Landing.

12:43 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on West Payran Street at Petaluma Boulevard North.

1:42 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on South McDowell Boulevard.

2:37 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Bassett Street.

3:01 p.m. — Fraud was reported on Bodega Avenue.

5:17 p.m. — Burglary was reported don Baywood Drive.

5:53 p.m. — Four juveniles, 13, 14, 15 and 16, of Petaluma were arrested on East D Street at Lakeville Street for misdemeanor vandalism. The 16-year-old was also arrested for misdemeanor carrying a switchblade. All four teens were released into the custody of their parents on citations to appear in court.

8:45 p.m. — Grand theft was reported on Caulfield Court.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

3:55 a.m. — Michael J. Orsini, 25, of Petaluma was arrested in the 200 block of Howard Street for misdemeanor violation of probation after officers received a report of a prowler.

8:39 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on B Street.

8:41 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on Burlington Drive.

9:33 a.m. — Vandalism was reported on Upham Street.

11:35 a.m. — Petty theft was reported on Lakeville Circle.

12:14 p.m. — Counterfeit with an intent to defraud was reported on Petaluma Boulevard North.

1:35 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Casa Grande Road.

2:24 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit and run was reported on Southpoint Boulevard.

4:34 p.m. — Petty theft was reported on Lakeville Street at East Washington Street.

4:39 p.m. — Graffiti was reported on Park Avenue at Prospect Street.

5:09 p.m. — Vandalism was reported on Meadowglen Drive.
