Petaluma's skateboarding Stess brother-sister duo of Finnley and Minna showed very well in the King of the Groms meet in Minnesota, the largest youth skateboard contest series in the world.
Finnley, 9, was first in bowl competition and earned a golden ticket (qualified) for the national championships in June.
Finnley was also second in miniramp and second in street, earning a golden ticket in both events. He was presented with the ATV Award as the best all-around skater in the beginner division.
His sister, Minna, 6, earned a golden ticket by finishing 12th in street competition. She is the youngest girl ever to qualify for the finals in the beginner street division.
She was also 10th in bowl and 14th in miniramp.
