Grades for Oakland's 20-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns

Quarterbacks: C Carson Palmer looked pretty capable — except for that disastrous interception in the fourth quarter.

Running Backs: B No problems with Marcel Reece or Jeremy Stewart, except that they didn’t get the ball much.

Receivers: C A couple of the receivers had trouble holding onto the ball. Not TE Brandon Myers, who caught 14 passes.

Offensive Line: B For the most part, the line played well enough to win.

Defensive Line: C Great game for DE Lamarr Houston; not so much for the rest of the line.

Linebackers: D Just too many missed tackles for Miles Burris and Co.

Defensive Backs: C Ron Bartell got benched. Half the secondary got concussed. But Giordano, Adams picked off passes.

Special Teams: C The positive: Desmond Bryant’s blocked FG. The negative: three penalties on kicks.

Coaching/Overall: D Losing to Cleveland at home is never a good thing.
