Petaluma boys win one of three in Ukiah Tournament

<p>Petaluma High School's boys basketball team officially began the John Behrs coaching era with three games in Ukiah High's Schools Fred Iten Tournament last weekend. The Trojans were 1-2 in the tournament, sandwiching a win over Fort Bragg between loses to Ukiah and Fortuna. </p><p>Petaluma opened its season with a 68-46 loss to host Ukiah. Returning senior Clay Swanson carried the Petaluma scoring load with 26 points. </p><p>The Trojans bounced back to record their first win for Behrs, defeating Fort Bragg, 36-28, with Swanson scoring 13.</p><p>Petaluma then lost in the consolation finals to Fortuna, 65-48. Eric Hunsicker and Joseph Lynch led Petaluma with 10 points apiece. </p><p>Swanson was named to the all-tournament team.</p>
