Athletic Edge holds two clinics

The Athletic Edge will offer clinics in both softball and conditioning in January.

There will be a hitting and fielding clinic for girls ages 11 through 14 that runs from Jan. 14 through 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day.

The clinic will be directed by former collegiate stars Sam Banister Garrett and Jenae Leles.

Banister Garrett played in the College Softball World Series for four seasons while at the University of Arizona. She was on two national championship teams and was chosen to the All-Pac 10 team.

Leles is rated one of the best collegiate defensive third basemen ever.

She was on two college World Series teams while at the University of Arizona.

A conditioning clinic for ages 6 through 14 will be held Jan. 21, 23, 28 and 30. Different age groups will work out at different times over the four days.
