A pickup truck that crashed and overturned Saturday on Highway 101 in Healdsburg led authorities to close two lanes of traffic and resulted in an extensive backup for motorists.
The single-vehicle crash occurred about 11:53 a.m. near the Healdsburg Avenue offramp. It involved a white Ford F10 pickup and left the driver with minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver was taken to Healdsburg District Hospital for treatment.
Northbound traffic was backed up about six miles to Arata Lane in Windsor as of 12:05 p.m., according to the CHP's traffic information website.
Emergency dispatchers called on crews to assist in an “extrication” and the CHP reported that debris blocked all northbound lanes.
The crash scene was cleared and the lane closure was lifted after about an hour.
