SAN RAFAEL — Police in Marin County are investigating the area's fourth bank robbery in less than a month.
The Marin Independent Journal reports (http://bit.ly/RHXoow) the latest theft occurred Wednesday evening at a Union Bank in Greenbrae.
Police said the robber gave the teller a note and shook a bag until it was filled with money. The robber then grabbed the note back and fled.
The robberies began Dec. 12 at a Chase branch in Greenbrae.
The suspect's description is similar in both Greenbrae heists: a white man with facial hair and grayish blond hair.
On Dec. 20 a San Rafael Citibank was robbed, and police arrested 37-year-old Jeremiah Martin two days later.
On Jan. 4, a Westamerica bank in San Rafael was robbed. That case is under investigation.
