Brendan O'Neill, the Petaluma Little League pitcher who suffered a severe injury last summer when he was struck in the head by a batted ball, will talk about his injury on television Sunday morning when he appears on the KGO-TV program “Beyond the Headlines.”
The program, hosted by Cheryl Jennings, will air at 10 a.m.
O'Neill will be part of a segment focusing on sports and brain injuries along with Ben Lynch, a Santa Rosa native who played four years as a center in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers.
O”Neill underwent surgery, but has since recovered and is playing basketball.
