A 22-year-old Petaluma man led officers on a high-speed chase early Sunday before he was arrested on felony evading and drunken driving charges, police said.
Officers spotted Reyes Mendoza at about 1:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a reckless vehicle in the area of East Washington Street, Sgt. Ryan DeBaeke said.
Mendoza was seen driving west on Waverly Road, running stops signs and speeding, DeBaeke said.
When officers attempted to pull him over, he sped onto East Washington, reaching speeds of 90 mph, DeBaeke said.
Mendoza stopped about three miles away on Adobe Road and was taken into custody.
He was booked into Sonoma County jail, where his bail was $10,000.
