Dentists offer free dental exams

The Petaluma Health Center and Petaluma Dental group are offering free dental exams for children in the month of February as part of National Children’s Dental Health Month.
The Petaluma Health Center is inviting families to sign up their children for free dental exams on Friday, Feb. 1 as part of its “Give Kids A Smile” event.
Petaluma Health Center will have six dentists, 10 assistants and six support staff providing preventive care and exams between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on this day.
During the program, parents will learn about ways to prevent childhood cavities and other important dental health tips.
The PHC services are intended for children from low income and/or uninsured families, and who don’t have a regular dentist or dental clinic.

Petaluma Dental Group will be offering free dental care to uninsured chidren on Feb. 9. Specifically, they’ll offer free exams and dental sealants to kids between the ages of 3 and 18. Parents can schedule an appointment at 639-8800.
