Dentists offer free dental exams

<p>The Petaluma Health Center and Petaluma Dental group are offering free dental exams for children in the month of February as part of National Children's Dental Health Month. </p><p>The Petaluma Health Center is inviting families to sign up their children for free dental exams on Friday, Feb. 1 as part of its “Give Kids A Smile” event.</p><p>Petaluma Health Center will have six dentists, 10 assistants and six support staff providing preventive care and exams between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on this day. </p><p>During the program, parents will learn about ways to prevent childhood cavities and other important dental health tips.</p><p>The PHC services are intended for children from low income and/or uninsured families, and who don't have a regular dentist or dental clinic.</p><p>To register a child, call 559-7550.</p><p>Petaluma Dental Group will be offering free dental care to uninsured chidren on Feb. 9. Specifically, they'll offer free exams and dental sealants to kids between the ages of 3 and 18. Parents can schedule an appointment at 639-8800.</p>
