A Tuesday morning vehicle crash that brought down a power pole has a section of Silverado Trail in Napa County closed until about noon, authorities said.
Motorists are being diverted around the scene between Skellenger Road and Highway 128, south of St. Helena, according to the CHP.
The 7:30 a.m. crash involved a 2010 Mercedes sedan driven by Calistoga resident Lissette Curiel, 20, who was traveling southbound at about 60 mph when she drifted of the road and struck the power pole, the CHP said.
Curiel suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital for treatment.
Downed power equipment also started a small vegetation fire, which was quickly doused, authorities said.
The power pole remained on the ground for several hours, however, prompting closure of the road, though motorists could drive around it using Skellenger Road and Conn Creek Road, authorities said.
The CHP said the affected portion of Silverado Trail should be reopened about noon.
