St. Vincent sweeps Tomales

The St. Vincent High School varsity basketball teams repeated an earlier sweep of rival Tomales Tuesday night, but this time they did it on the Tomales court.
The St. Vincent girls got off to a good start and rolled to a 52-21 win.
St. Vincent led 11-3 at the end of the third quarter and was on top, 32-13 at the half.
Grace Jennings led the Lady Mustangs with 17 points, with Jacalyn Murphy adding nine and Ursyla Baumgaren eight.
Kayla Furlong and Janelle Kehoe scored five apiece for Tomales.
The St. Vincent boys, by contrast, started slowly, but rallied for a 59-41 win.
Tomales led 13-6 at the end of the first period, and 27-25 at the half, before the Mustangs took charge in the second half.
Evan Knight led the win with 18 points, with Mitch Sheppard scoring 15. Tyler McFadden led Tomales with 17 points.
