St. Vincent sweeps Tomales

<p>The St. Vincent High School varsity basketball teams repeated an earlier sweep of rival Tomales Tuesday night, but this time they did it on the Tomales court.</p><p>The St. Vincent girls got off to a good start and rolled to a 52-21 win. </p><p>St. Vincent led 11-3 at the end of the third quarter and was on top, 32-13 at the half.</p><p>Grace Jennings led the Lady Mustangs with 17 points, with Jacalyn Murphy adding nine and Ursyla Baumgaren eight. </p><p>Kayla Furlong and Janelle Kehoe scored five apiece for Tomales.</p><p>The St. Vincent boys, by contrast, started slowly, but rallied for a 59-41 win.</p><p>Tomales led 13-6 at the end of the first period, and 27-25 at the half, before the Mustangs took charge in the second half.</p><p>Evan Knight led the win with 18 points, with Mitch Sheppard scoring 15. Tyler McFadden led Tomales with 17 points.</p>
