Caltrans will begin removing trees along Highway 101 and Lakeville Highway on Saturday to clear the way for a sound wall and interchange improvements.
The work, which will be done at night and take two weeks, is part of the Highway 101 widening project that will add additional lanes through the Novato Narrows.
It will require the closing of the northbound on-ramp at Lakeville Highway from 7 p.m. to midnight each night.
One northbound lane of Highway 101 also will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on weekends and from 8 p.m. to midnight on weeknights.
