A concert for kids

The SRJC Symphonic Band will be performing The Family Show, "a concert for kids of all ages," on Sunday, March 1 at the Petaluma Community Center.

The band will be playing selections geared towards children, including music from (Angry Birds) Star Wars, a Tom & Jerry soundtrack-worthy selection by Paul Hart called “Cartoon”, a symphonic suite by Roger Cichy called “Bugs” and more.

The program is expected to last about 45 minutes.

The event starts at 3:30 p.m. at the Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd.

The event is free, though donations are suggested.
