The Petaluma and Casa Grande girls lacrosse teams “Battle for the Paddle” Friday night at Lucchesi Park.
The annual lacrosse clash between the two rivals has been dubbed the “Battle for the Paddle,” in recognition of the community’s ties to the Petaluma River.
Game time is 7 p.m.
At halftime of the Casa-Petaluma game, there will be a “Always Buddy” ceremony in memory of former youth and high school lacrosse star Alyssa Byrne.
