Elderly couple injured in Highway 101 rollover crash

An Orinda couple suffered injuries when their car crashed Monday afternoon as they headed into Petaluma on Highway 101, said the CHP.

The crash happened at 2:15 p.m., south of Kastania Road.

Driver Charles Davis, 84, lost control of their 1995 BMW and the sedan rolled, trapping him and his wife.

Petaluma and San Antonio firefighters responded and cut the doors off to get the couple out of the car.

Passenger Dorothy Davis 82, suffered major injuries and her husband had minor injuries.

They were both taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

There were no other cars involved, said the CHP.
