A 13-year-old Petaluma teenager was arrested this week for allegedly stealing a bottle of vodka from the Grocery Outlet and threatening to kill a store employee who confronted him, police said Wednesday.

It is the second time in two weeks officers have encountered the juvenile. Police arrested the same teen last week for allegedly vandalizing a local junior high school.

Lt. Tim Lyons said that after officers went to the juvenile's residence following the Nov. 3 robbery, the teen began vandalizing his parent's home, so law enforcement took him into custody. He was transported to juvenile hall and charged with felony robbery.

A 16-year-old teenager was also arrested in connection to both the robbery and vandalism. He was cited and released.
