  A funeral service for Milton E. Lund will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22 at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St. Mr. Lund died on March 16, 2010 at the age of 84.

  Longtime Petaluman Victor-ia Anna Scangarello was best known to residents as co-owner of Millie’s Chili Bar at 600 Petaluma Blvd. South. Ms. Scangarello died on March 9, 2010 after suffering from a stroke and complications from pneumonia. She was 90.

  A celebration of life for William J. Zemanek will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 28 at the Elks Lodge No. 901, 2105 S. McDowell Blvd Ext., Petaluma. Mr. Zemanek died from pneumonia in Petaluma on Feb. 7, 2010. He was 92.

  Alvinda Ormonde

  Alvinda Ormonde, a native of Terceira, Azores, moved to Petaluma in 1951 and soon reached her goal of becoming a U.S. citizen. She began attending night school in order to become fluent in English, and was soon able to obtain a driver's license. Mrs. Ormonde died unexpectedly at her home on Feb. 28, 2010. She was 86.
